I’m Sure You’ve Heard This, but Have You Heard It?

If you and I know the same things, as I often assume you do, then you know that David Lynch, Danger Mouse, and Sparklehorse teamed up to create an album.

Furthermore, I’m sure you already know that due to some problems with EMI, the album’s release has been postponed. I’m sure you also know that you can buy the original concept piece with a CD-R replacing the CD here.

I’m even guessing that you know that NPR, in a move of journalistic bad-assitry (sp?) has posted the whole album online.

BUT…Have you listened to it yet?

Because you should. It’s amazing. I’m listening to it right now.

I’m reminded of Dopamine, a collaboration between so many talented artists that it almost doesn’t seem real.

If you’ve already listened to it, then it’s as I feared. I’ve wasted your time for nothing. This post has no new information, and it’s even worthless as an endorsement.

Still, it was a pretty good album. Yeah?
